The Innkeeper's Society

The Children's Inn created The Innkeeper's Society, a special recognition program for donors who have included The Children's Inn at NIH in their wills and estate plans, to acknowledge and thank donors for making a legacy gift that will continue their belief in the Inn's mission and philanthropic work beyond their lifetimes.

"Each year we receive gifts through bequests or beneficiary designations from very generous and thoughtful donors, some of whom have given during their lifetimes, and some of whom we have never met," says CEO Jennie Lucca. "We want to be able to extend our thanks to donors for their care and support, and, if they wish, include them in Inn recognition, events, and special occasions. For those donors who have never visited The Inn, we'd love to assure them of the great impact that their legacy giving will have, and even help them direct their gift to a specific purpose or need. For those donors who desire a more subtle approach, we'd simply like to extend a quiet thank you."

Donors who join The Innkeeper's Society may choose to be listed in Inn publications and on our listing in the Donor Hall or to remain anonymous. Members will receive invitations to special events and programs at The Inn.
